Auburn department heads, with Auburn City Manager Glenn Aho, visited the Auburn Public Library recently to learn about Marvel, a database to thousands of magazines, newspapers and reference books. Officials looked at what other municipalities throughout the country and around the world are doing to bring some of those ideas here. Sally Holt, information services and teen librarian, was the instructor. Aho is in front; second row from left, Laurie Smith, Bob Belz, Cheryl Dubois and Roland Miller; back, Debbie Grimmig (tucked behind the computer), Wayne Wertz, Charlie Deangelis and Paul Fraser. Eric Labelle, Phil Crowell, Peter Bushway and David Galbraith will also take Marvel training.
