PARIS – The 4-H clubs across Oxford County are an opportunity for volunteers to offer young people the experience of a new skill or talent area. The clubs are a part of the youth development program of the University of Maine Cooperative Extension and are open to all young people ages 5 to 18.
Those who have a special skill to share with young people are asked to contact the Oxford County Extension Office to find a club that could use that skill. Those wishing can volunteer for one or two sessions or for a year.
Susan Jennings, Extension educator, can be contacted for more information at 743-6329 or 1-800-287-1482 or at 9 Olson Road, South Paris, ME 04281.
