NORWAY – The Second Congregational Church of Norway, 205 Main St., will host its annual United Nation’s Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Halloween Party from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31. Children of all ages are invited.

There will be games, prizes and face painting/tattoos. The Witches Cafe will serve macaroni and cheese and hot dogs as well as assorted treats and drinks.

Sara Timm, Christian education director, said, “I hope that many families who trick or treat with merchants Halloween afternoon on Main Street, Norway, will come to the UNICEF party for an early evening of fun and safe activities.”

A spooktacular haunted house, created by the youth group, will be set up in the parsonage barn. It will be open from 6 to 7 p.m. Tickets for the various activities will be three for $1, and all proceeds will benefit UNICEF.

UNICEF works around the world on projects such as safe water for children, education for all children and immunization programs. Those who would like a UNICEF trick or treat box or who would like to donate to the UNICEF fundraiser should stop by the church office between 9 a.m. and noon Monday through Thursday.

The church is a member of the United Church of Christ. Worship and church school is held at 10 a.m. Sundays. For more information, call the church office at 743-2290.
