AUBURN – Park Avenue Elementary School PTO kicked off the school year with the Reduce, Reuse and Recycle theme. At the first Wednesday morning sing of the year, the Park Avenue PTO announced the theme to the school and launched a new paper-recycling program.

Paper recycling boxes were placed in each classroom and throughout the school. Everyone in the school has been reducing, reusing and recycling.

Hannaford Supermarket donated 400 reusable grocery bags. The bags were presented to every student and classroom teacher at Park Avenue to kick off the PTO’s Reduce Reuse and Recycle theme.
