HEBRON – Hebron Academy opened the 2008-09 academic year with students representing 16 states and 11 countries, including the Ukraine, Spain, Sweden, China and Japan.
The student body also consists of 30 percent local students from 19 surrounding towns, including Auburn, Buckfield, Bethel, Harrison, Hebron, Gray, Greene, New Gloucester, Lewiston, Minot, Norway, South Paris and Raymond.
Hebron Academy is an independent school serving boys and girls in grades six to 12. The academy also offers a one-year post high school program. Financial aid is available in all grades.
Students in grades nine to 12 and postgraduate are invited to attend an open house from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 1.
Boys and girls in grades six to eight are invited to attend open house from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Nov. 11. Prospective students and their families are welcome to attend.
