AUBURN – In recognition of National Disabilities Awareness Month, Central Maine Community College will host a disabilities services awareness fair from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, in the Hall of Flags at the Auburn campus.

More than 20 service organizations will staff tables with information about the services they provide in the community. The public is invited.

The following organizations will participate: Androscoggin Advocacy for Children, Tri-County Mental Health Services, Eastern Alliance for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, Division of Blind and Visually Impaired, AllTech, Pepnet/Netac, Alpha One, Maine Handicapped Skiing, Vocational Rehabilitation, Iris Network.

Also, Autism Society of Maine, Learning Disabilities Association of Maine, Clover Manor, Western Maine Transportation Services, Community Concepts Inc., Maine Transition Network, Abused Women’s Advocacy Project, Spurwink Services, Sweetser, VSA Arts of Maine, Pine Tree Society, and Child Development Services.
