LEWISTON – Healthy Androscoggin conducted the Androscoggin County Community Visioning Survey during April and May.

Through the survey, residents were given the opportunity to voice their opinions and concerns on the quality of life and the health of the county.

The findings of data collection efforts were presented at the May 28 Androscoggin County Summit and will help the future programming efforts of Healthy Androscoggin.

As a thank-you, Healthy Androscoggin held a drawing for three gas card prizes among those who filled out the survey. Winners were Rosemary LaGall, $250 gas card; Donald T. Dube, $100 card; and Ken Alexander, $50 card.

The coalition has four main community goals: supporting tobacco-free lifestyles, increasing physical activity, promoting healthy eating and preventing substance abuse.
