Children to spend night at the library
PARIS – The Paris Public Library will host a sleepover Friday and Saturday, Aug. 22 and 23, for youths ages 9 to 12.
Participants will spend 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. at the library, playing games, listening to stories and doing crafts, including decorating their own book bags.
The sleepover will be led by library staff member Michaela Batstone, assisted by Jennifer Lewis. Youths will only have to bring their own sleeping bags and pillows. as the library will provide snacks for the evening and breakfast treats.
Anyone interested in joining the sleepover should register with the library staff, as participation is limited to 30. The activity is free and open to all in the community.
