Strawberry fest

RANGELEY – The Rangeley Guides and Sportsmen’s Association will host the annual Strawberry Festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, July 10, in Oquossoc Park. There will be crafts, food booths and strawberry shortcake with real whipped cream.

Members will also hold a yard sale and they welcome donated items. For more information on pick-up or delivery, call Don Miller 864-5383 or Ed Inness at 864-2614.

Lake group meal

INDUSTRY – The Clearwater Lake Improvement Association will hold its annual meeting and potluck dinner at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, July 13, at the Town Hall. All members and interested persons are invited. Bring a favorite food dish to share. Soda, coffee and water will be available. For more information, call 779-1866.

Summer camp

STRONG – The second annual Summer Camp in the Park (Lance Corporal Scott Paul Park) will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, July 14 to 18.

The camp, for ages 5 to 12, costs $55 a child and includes a camp T-shirt. Lunch and drink will be provided. There will be sports, crafts, hikes, bugs, animals and fishing.
