Savannah Shaw, a third-grader at Washburn School in Auburn, sang the National Anthem at the City Council meeting on June 2. Shaw is pictured wearing an Auburn Youth Hockey jersey since the Auburn City Council was voting on money regarding the rehab of her home ice rink. Her apprehension shows as she waits for her turn. The council had a workshop that ran late and she did not get to sing until almost 20 minutes after scheduled.
