Bowl For Kids’ Sake termed a huge success

LEWISTON – The Big Brothers Big Sisters annual Bowl For Kids’ Sake event was a huge success. With the support of many local businesses, the Child Health Center raised more than $15,000 in sponsorship money and the 600 bowlers raised more than $36,000 to support the mentoring programs of Androscoggin County.

The proceeds will be used to support the more than 300 matches in the site-based and community-based programs as well as three after-school programs in Androscoggin County.

The Child Health Center is a nonprofit organization striving to improve the well being of children and their families throughout Oxford, Androscoggin and southern Franklin counties.
