Cemetery cleanup

RUMFORD – The annual East Ellis Cemetery raking bee will take place at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 17. Bring a rake and bug spray. Following the work session, there will be a meeting at the Ray Baker residence, Andover Road.

Graduate Mass

RUMFORD – All area 2008 high school graduates are invited to celebrate Mass at St. Athanasius-St. John’s Church at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, June 1.

After Mass, there will be breakfast for the graduates and parents in the church hall. The breakfast is sponsored and served by the members of the Knights of Columbus.

Forms are available at all area high school offices. RSVP no later than Thursday, May 22.

The graduates will meet downstairs in the church hall at 8:15 the morning of the Mass. All graduates are to bring their caps and gowns with them as they will march in as a group.
