AUBURN – The YMCA of Auburn-Lewiston and the YWCA of Central Maine announce the start of the Twin Cities summer swim team season. The Sea Lions are a co-ed swim team for kids ages 6 to 18, with the only requirement that participants must be able to swim the length of the pool (25 yards).

TCST emphasizes the development of each individual in accordance with his/her abilities and desires.

Both organizations are now accepting registrations, and participants must register at both the YMCA and the YWCA. There is no registration deadline – registration remains open throughout the season. Those who register must be members in good standing at each organization, and the summer program fee is $80 payable to the YMCA and $60 payable to the YWCA.

The Twin Cities Summer Swim Team begins Monday, May 12, and continues through July.

Upon registration, all participants will receive a practice schedule.
