Seniors to meet
OXFORD – The Lake Thompson Senior Citizens will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 17, at the Market Square Restaurant, Paris.
Dinner will be chosen from the menu. Members are asked to bring an item as a gift for playing bingo.
The group will discuss where everyone would like to go on the annual trip in June. All are welcome.
Pork supper
NORWAY – The Norway Fireman’s Relief Association will hold a roast pork supper from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at the fire station. The menu will consist of roast pork, salads, vegetables, rolls, beverages and dessert. Cost is $7 for adults, $3 for children under 12 and free for children under 6.
Youth set meal
OXFORD – The Oxford Congregational Church youth group will hold a potluck supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at the church on King Street. The cost is $7 for adults, $5 for children ages 5 to 12 and free under 5 years. The food will be prepared and donated by the cooks in the Ladies Guild.
There will be a raffle on a handmade wooden bowl donated by Brud Moulton that will be drawn at 6 p.m. along with the 50/50 raffle. All funds will go toward the youth trip to Boston. For more information, call Bob at 539-1039.
Society to meet
WEST PARIS – The Finnish-American Heritage Society of Maine will resume monthly meetings with a membership potluck luncheon at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 20, at the Finnish-American Heritage Center, Maple Street.
Church service
PARIS – Trinity Lutheran Church, 34 Buckfield Road, Paris, invites all to Sunday school for children and Bible study at 9 a.m. Sunday, April 20, the fifth Sunday after Easter. Worship service will be at 10:15 a.m. followed by coffee, refreshments and fellowship.
First meeting
WEST PARIS – The West Paris Historical Society will hold its first meeting Monday, April 21, with a potluck supper at 6 p.m., meeting at 7 and spring social hour.

Museum to open
PARIS – The first meeting of the Paris Cape Historical Society will be held on Thursday, May 15, rather than in April due to the large amount of snow and the lack of availability of parking at the museum.
In May the society will also open the museum for visits from 1 to 4 p.m. each Thursday. Members welcome researchers and historians and all who would like to tour the museum. A slate of officers will be presented for a vote at the May meeting.
