AUBURN – A new slate of officers for Pine Cone Chapter 26, Order of the Eastern Star, was installed on March 22 at the Masonic Hall, 1021 Turner St.

Ellen Broas was installed worthy matron and Stephen Broas, worthy patron. Others installed were Pamela Toussaint, associate matron; William Stretton, associate patron; Betty Perkins, secretary; Mary Lawlor, treasurer; Elsie Willant, conductress; Harriet Stretton, chaplain; Eva Johnson, marshal; Eleanor Peterson, organist; Cathy Hunnewell, Adah; Sharon McGilvery, Ruth; Sandra Dunlap, Esther; Violet Gerber, Martha; Madelyn Grover, Electa; Andy Bradeen, warden; and James Lawlor, sentinel.

Installing officers were Stephanie Dupal, installing matron; Samuel Kelly, installing patron; Edward Webber, installing marshal; Josephine Dupal, installing chaplain; Susan Glines, installing organist; and Ellen Broas, star point ceremony.

Distinguished guests present were William H. Stretton, past grand patron; Corley Anne Byras, grand secretary; Josephine Dupal, grand Martha; Stephanie Dupal, district deputy grand matron, District 4.

The following grand representatives brought greetings from their respective jurisdictions: Vicki Kelley of Michigan, Sharon McGilvery of Ohio, Mary Barger of Alabama and Samuel Kelly, assisting grand chaplain of the Grand Lodge of Maine.

Refreshments were served in the dining hall after the installation ceremony.
