LEWISTON — Norman Lucien Stone Jr., 71, passed away Friday, March 23, at CMMC. He was the son of Renette Joncas and Norman Stone Sr., born on Christmas Eve, 1946. He previously resided at Maison Marcotte, the residences at St. Mary’s, for many years.

He is survived by his sisters, Elizabeth Lemieux of Lewiston and Elaine Gallagher of Hastings, Neb. He was a loving uncle to Renee Mack of Kansas and her son, Kenneth, Sheaunna Faller of Arizona and her son, Eliis, and Nattah Shaffran of Neb. He is also survived by his dear nephew, Marcel Cloutier of Sabattus; and his beloved niece, Mel Cloutier, and her wife, Lisa Ward, of Lisbon Falls.

Norman was proud of his work history at both the Bates and Libby mills, and the Fournier Footwear Factory. He enjoyed snowmobiling and was a proud third-degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

Norman enjoyed visiting his faraway family whenever possible, and loved sharing holiday meals and visits with his Maine family, and the extended family of friends he created with his beautiful smile and individual personality. Norman had a kind heart and a generous spirit, a true love of God and a desire to do good always. Norman was a special soul who touched many hearts and will always be cherished.
