LEWISTON – The Downtown Community Action Group will sponsor a series of awareness workshops at the B Street Community Center.

The first, on financial literacy, will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 24, Room A of the center, 57 Birch St. Snacks will be provided and all are welcome.

Other workshops will focus on protecting oneself from scams, negotiating with a neighbor in a conflict, getting out of an abusive situation, and using CPR and first aid in an emergency.

The workshop schedule will be provided at the first session.
