LISBON FALLS – Lisbon High School will present Anne-Marie Davee, a registered dietitian and competitive athlete, who will speak on “Nutrition for Peak Performance” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, in the Lisbon High School cafeteria.

Nutrition is essential for athletes to perform at their best. Athletes, coaches, parents and students will learn the latest information on foods that provide optimal fuel for sports and good health. Davee will also present the “buzz” on fluid intake for proper hydration.

Davee has more than 25 years of experience in the field of health promotion. She has two degrees from the University of Maine at Orono; a bachelor’s degree in foods and nutrition and a master’s degree in nutrition with an exercise concentration.

Davee is a competitive runner and triathlete. She has completed 20 26-mile marathons, including the first Women’s Olympic Marathon Trials in 1984. She was inducted into the Maine Running Hall of Fame in 2000.
