MEXICO – The USM Lifeline Institute will offer a certificate in the “Fundamentals for Worksite Wellness” starting Wednesday, March 5. The six-week professional training course will run from 9 to 11 a.m. at the University of Southern Maine, Portland campus.
The course will also be offered via videoconferencing at University College in Rumford/Mexico, 13 Brown St.
Registration deadline is Friday, Feb. 29.
Classes are designed for employers of any size looking to acquire the skills and working knowledge to either start a new wellness program or expand an existing one. Sessions will cover the fundamental building blocks of assessment, design, marketing, implementation and evaluation for best practice worksite programs.
