LISBON FALLS – Members of the Lisbon Rotary gathered in the lobby outside the local Food City on Dec. 14 to kick-off their annual bell ringing project.

Each year, members devote two weekends in December at various locations in the Lisbon area and ring the bell to assist with the needs of the Salvation Army.

Rotarians, Philip W. Sugg junior volunteers and Lisbon Community School Student Council members will be at Boot Leggers Beverage Warehouse and Redemption Center at 13 Village St., Lisbon, at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, to continue their fundraising efforts for the Salvation Army.

Lisbon Rotary meets at 7 a.m. Tuesdays at Blake’s Grill. For more information, contact Ora Madden, club secretary, at 353-3000, ext. 107, or Monica Millhime, community service director, at 754-0021 or e-mail [email protected].
