LEWISTON – Each year the Cavalier Towne and Country Club raises funds to support its Cavalier Club Bingo Sports Scholarship Award Program.

The club bingo has awarded scholarships to 17 high school seniors who have been accepted into college this fall. Each student excelled in academics and sports and wrote an essay on “How playing sports in high school has prepared me for my future goals I have set for myself.”

Receiving $500 awards were: Brittney French, Bates College; Rory Chisholm-Drane, University of Vermont; Elise Perkins, University of Maine in Orono; Cameron Robichaud, New Hampshire Technical College; Laura Gardner, University of Vermont.

Also, Joshua Leger, University of Maine in Orono; Amber Augur, University of New Haven Connecticut; Stephen Gagnon, Norwich University; Nathan Brown, Central Maine Community College; Carla Henault, McGill University-Canada; Jordan Elizabeth Paquet, Xavier University, Ohio.

Also, Brandon Galouch, Husson College; Jessica Decker, University of Maine at Augusta; Jennifer Berry, St. Joseph’s College; Brittiny-Rae Gagnon, Northeastern University; Eric Berube, University of Maine in Orono; Matthew Richardson, Central Maine Community College.
