The University of Southern Maine Student Success Committee recently sponsored “How Are You Doing?” tables. The goal was to engage students in conversation and answer questions they had, ranging from registration, advising, financial aid and university support services. Supported by funding from the MELMAC Educational Foundation, the committee is comprised of representatives from every school, college and division at USM. Tables were set up on each of USM’s three campuses and were staffed by staff, student and faculty volunteers. Pictured at the USM LAC table, from left, are Susan Teich, Prof. Betty Robinson, Mary Sylvain-Leonas and Nasma Abdi.
