Advocates for Children of Lewiston presented Glenda Evans with its 2007 Community Service Award at the annual meeting on Oct. 10. For 15 years, AFC has recognized a member of the community for their contribution to the prevention of child abuse and neglect. Evans has helped many children in her work as a therapist. She is an advocate for children whose focus is to grow beyond their past negative experiences.
