LEWISTON – Boy Scout Troop 007 of Vineyard Church has announced last quarter’s merit badges, advancement and honor camper awards for the following Scouts:
Tristan Bussiere, chaplain’s aide, tenderfoot rank, salesmanship and fly fishing merit badges; Roland Chabot, camping merit badge; Tom Choate, salesmanship and fly fishing merit badges, honor camper for Kennebago; Patrick Cowen, bird study, fingerprinting, leatherwork, nature, wood carving, salesmanship and fly fishing merit badges.
Also, Jake Dumas, instructor-fly fishing merit badge; Jared Dumas, bird study, fingerprinting, leatherwork, nature, wood carving, salesmanship and fly fishing merit badges; Addison Goodwin, Scout rank, salesmanship and fly fishing merit badges; Kevin McArthur, instructor-star rank, fly fishing and music merit badges.
Also, Dylan Morin, bird study, fingerprinting, leatherwork, nature, woodcarving, salesmanship and fly fishing merit badges; Michael Paradis, assistant senior patrol leader, fly fishing merit badge; Dustin Record, quartermaster, fly fishing merit badge; Christian Rodrigue, bird study, fingerprinting, leatherwork, nature, wood carving, salesmanship, and fly fishing merit badges.
Also, Jacob Reed, guide, star rank, bird study, fishing, geology, model design, rifle shooting, fly fishing, honor camper, Camp Hinds; Dakota Withee, salesmanship and fly fishing merit badges.
Activities for the quarter included attending summer camp, BSA Camp William Hinds in Raymond, camping and fly fishing on Kennebago Lake, panning for gold in Coos Canyon and camping, black powder shooting and tomahawk throwing at the Ancient Ones’ Rendezvous in Canton.
Community service activities included service projects at Camp Hinds and race marshals for New Beginnings 5K race in Lewiston.
Meetings are held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays at the Vineyard Christian Church on Foss Road. Visitors are welcome. The Boy Scout program is open to any boy who will be in at least the sixth grade but not yet having turned 18 years old.
