LEWISTON – Lewiston Adult Education has 11 classes with seats available that are scheduled to begin throughout the next six weeks.

“Traditions with a Twist Floral Arrangement” will be offered by Laurie Ouellette on Thursday, Nov. 8. “Traditional Fare Done with a Flair” will be facilitated by Denise Morin on Thursday, Nov. 15.

“Creating a Beaded Watch” will be taught by PJ Mottram on Wednesday, Nov. 28, and “Scrapbooking II: Using Embellishments” will be led by Dawn Hartill on Thursday, Nov. 29. “How to Set Up and Maintain an Aquarium” with Drew Desjardins is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 28.

Indonesian percussion instruments will be featured in “The Gamelan Experience” with Bates Professor Gina Fatone on Wednesday, Nov. 14. Nadine Loeb will lead “Self-Healing with Crystals” beginning Thursday, Nov. 28, and Tanya Quarterman will host “Meeting Your Guardian Angel” on Tuesday, Dec. 4, and an advanced session on Thursday, Dec. 6.

“Adobe Photoshop Intermediate” will be taught by Tessa Herland beginning on Tuesday, Nov. 6, and “Basic Design and Drafting Using Google SketchUp” with Louie Turcotte starting on Thursday, Dec. 6.

Lewiston Adult Education is a local training program with a goal to provide affordable, effective and meaningful learning opportunities for adults in Lewiston and the surrounding communities.
