DIXFIELD – The members and friends of the Dixfield Common Baptist Church and the Carthage Union Church will hold the fifth annual thank-you dinner at 5:30 p.m Friday, Nov. 2, at the Dixfield church.

Each year members honor a group of people whom they feel deserve recognition for their contribution to the community who may not otherwise be acknowledged.

This year members are honoring those who serve the community through the town offices of Dixfield and Carthage. The respective town managers, selectmen and office staff, along with their spouses and families, are invited to a celebration of thanks for what they do. The recipients will be given awards and small gifts.

No reservations are required, but because seating is limited, prior notice of attendance is helpful.
