AUBURN – Central Maine Community College will host its annual fall open house from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, on its lakeside campus at 1250 Turner St.

Faculty, staff and students will be on hand to provide information on programs of study, the admissions process, support services, athletics and housing. In addition, ongoing financial aid workshops will be held throughout the morning.

“We will offer campus tours and other opportunities to learn more about student life on campus,” said Admissions Director Betsy Libby. “Students can also discuss program options with faculty members, register for door prizes and sample refreshments prepared by our culinary arts students.”

Dean of Student Services Randall E. Lee will also be present to meet with prospective students and their families.

The college offers career and technical programs that prepares graduates for immediate employment and continued education. In addition, the college offers transfer programs that enable graduates to continue their education at a four-year institution. Students may attend full- or part-time, and many evening courses are available. The college offers a variety of extracurricular activities and athletics.
