OTISFIELD – The Otisfield Volunteer Firefighter’s Association will holds its fourth annual harvest dance from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Otisfield Community Hall.

The dance is a fundraiser that supports the association’s involvement in the community, with events such as bike safety day, fire prevention week and the Otisfield Winter Carnival. The association is also raising money to purchase equipment for the fire department.

Entertainment will be by “Stormy.” Admission is $10 a person to be paid at the door. Free snacks will be provided by the association. A 50/50 drawing will be held as well as raffles for a cord of wood, a Maine-theme basket filled with local goodies and a wrench set.

Those unable to make it to the dance can still buy raffle tickets or make monetary donations. Make checks payable to the Otisfield Volunteer Firefighter’s Association and mail to Spurr’s Corner Fire Station, 994 State Route 121, Otisfield, ME 04270.
