LIVERMORE FALLS – The Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens met at Murray Hall on Oct. 1 with 26 members present. Chairwoman Shirley Couture opened the meeting with a prayer, salute to the flag and a moment of silence for departed members and the men and women in the Armed Forces.

The sick list includes Dora Slovak, Mary Groleau, Blanche Bilodeau and Betty Richard. Mary Groleau and Jean Luciano are having cataract surgery. Members welcomed back Marie Gagnon.

Cards of thanks were received from Marie Gagnon and Dora Slovak. Roger Brown will be present on Monday, Oct. 15, to speak about Humana Insurance. The Jay Elementary School students will visit in November to entertain.

The monthly bingo game was held. On Monday, Oct. 8, a Chinese auction will be held, and members can bring food items or otherwise. The 50-50 was won by Jeannine Williams.
