Bible club

AUBURN – The Jericho Place Bible Club will begin Wednesday, Oct. 3, at the Marston’s Corner Baptist Church, 752 Beech Hill Road, corner of Hotel Road. It will be held for ages 4 to 12 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. For more information, contact Marti Chabot at 784-3003.

Freshman night

LISBON – Lisbon High School will host Freshman Night from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, in the high school library.

Freshman Night is a program that provides parents and students an opportunity to learn about academic planning, including the importance of building a solid four-year plan that is tailored to student interests and career goals.

In addition, the program will review strategies and techniques to improve academic skills and communication between parent, school and child to assist in high school and post-secondary success.

The Guidance office encourages participation from parents and students.
