WILTON – Kathleen Szostek, e-PRO Realtor with Keller Williams Realty Mid Maine, Auburn, will discuss “Real Estate Realities” when Western Mountain Women’s Connection meets from 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, at the Boiler Room.
Becky Watson, flautist from Vermont, will present “Sharps and Flats.” Lunch is $12, and reservations and cancellations are essential. Call Betsy at 562-8395 or Jane at 645-2282. Child care is available with notice.

Breakfast forum
WILTON – The “Early Bird” Community Forum breakfast series will resume on Wednesday, Oct. 3, at the Wilton Congregational Church, 386 Main St. Forrest Bonney, fisheries biologist for the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, will be the speaker. His topic will be “Western Maine Fisheries.”
Doors will open at 6:30 a.m. for coffee and tea, and a buffet breakfast will be provided at 6:45. The speaker will talk from 7 to 7:30.
Admission is free, and donations will be accepted. The public is welcome.
Rummage sale
RANGELEY – The Episcopal Church Women hold their last rummage sale for the year from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, and from 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 13, in the Episcopal Church undercroft, Main Street.
Bags will be supplied for a $1 to fill from 11:30 to noon Saturday.
New items arrive daily as homes close for the season. Featured items include house accessories, baby and youth items and warm clothing.
The church women direct proceeds toward community outreach and special church needs.
