LISBON – The Lisbon High School annual senior student/parent night will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, in the high school library. There will be a presentation on the process of applying for college and what colleges expect of their applicants.
Library meeting
AUBURN – The annual meeting of the Auburn Public Library corporators will be held at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, at the Auburn Public Library. At 6 p.m. the library will present folk and acoustic musician Zackery Pomerleau, a featured performer at its teen open mike nights.
Scout info night
AUBURN – Cub Scout Pack 111 will have an informational meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at the Auburn United Methodist Church, 439 Park Ave. All boys in grades one through five and their families are invited.
Masonic session
WALES – Webster Lodge 164, AF and AM, will begin its 136th year of Masonic labors at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at the hall at 322 Centre Road.
It will be a regular business meeting in preparation for upcoming fall meetings. Members and all Master Masons are invited.
Society meeting
MECHANIC FALLS – The Mechanic Falls Historical Society will meet at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, in Council Chambers, Mechanic Falls Municipal Building, 108 Lewiston St.

Patriots raffle
NEW GLOUCESTER – The Patriot Grandstand Club, sponsor of Gray-New Gloucester Patriots football, is raffling two TD Banknorth luxury suite tickets to the New England Patriots game vs. the New York Jets on Sunday, Dec. 16.
The prize package, worth more than $3,000, also includes Lilley’s Limousine service to and from Gillette Stadium. Luxury suites offers a spectacular view of the game, protection from the weather and free food and beverages.
Raffle tickets are $10 each. To purchase tickets, see any Gray-New Gloucester High School football player or call Jenny Sherwood at 653-0471. All proceeds will benefit GNG Patriots football.
Bridge play
LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Duplicate Bridge Club met on Sept. 11 at the Multi-Purpose Center. Winners in Flight A were: first, Jeanine Kivus and Martine Begert; second, Jim Flanagan and Laurie Letourneau; third, Luke Merry and Mike Quinn. Winners in Flight B were Richard Balian and Marta Clements.
East/West winners were: first, Fred Letourneau and Rosemarie Goodwin; second, David Lock and Patricia Garcia; third, Leslie Buzzell and Nancy Lindgren. Flight B and C winners were: first, Conrad and Marlene Violette; second, Helen Little and Cynthia Bonsey.
A luncheon party was held after the game honoring Luke Merry and his fiancee, Flo Leduc, on their upcoming nuptials. Another game will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, at the center.
The club also met on Sept. 12 at Schooner Estates in Auburn. A membership game was held and Flight A winners were: first overall, Fred Letourneau and Sherry Hinckley; second, Luke Merry and Lucille Theriault; third, Mike and Pat Quinn; fourth, Lucille Bilodeau and Alberta Turner. Winners in Flight B were Lucille Bilodeau and Alberta Turner.
There will be an ACBL instant matchpoint game played at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19. The game awards one gold point to North/South and East/West winners in each section.
