PERU – A meeting of the officers and directors of the Worthly Pond Association will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 21, at the home of Dave Clement, president of the association, on Walker Road. The executive board will discuss the 2007 activities and will start planning the 2008 events.

New items at the store include youth size t-shirts and decorative signs that say “Worthley Pond.”

The store is open on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon, and by special request by calling 562-4611. The 2007 free ice cream social will be held at the “bus” on Saturday at 1 p.m.
