LEWISTON – Lewiston Adult Education will offer a Writing for Pleasure and/or Profit beginning Sept. 6 as part of its fall course offerings.

The class runs for 10 weeks from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Thursdays at Lewiston High School.

The group will be led by Lynn Ross, an award-winning writer with 30-plus years of writing and editing experience.

Ross is hoping to attract people who might just want to start a journal, pen a family history, perhaps improve their business writing or even publish if that’s their goal.

Ross’s writing has appeared in over 80 publications and garnered nine journalism awards in regional, national and international competitions.
