LISBON FALLS – Tired of eating the same old, tasteless thing?

Has a diabetic, low-sugar, low-fat or low-sodium diet got you down?

Consider checking out the University of Maine Cooperative Extension’s Diabetes, Food & You workshop being held Friday, Sept. 14, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will be held at the Androscoggin-Sagadahoc Extension Office at 24 Main Street.

Participants will also have an opportunity to sample healthy foods for a light lunch.

The workshop will be led by Wendy Legg Pollock, Extension Educator.

The cost is $10 per person, with an additional $6 for another person from the same family.

Scholarships are available.

Registration and fees are due by Sept 10.
