The Androscoggin Habitat for Humanity house at 144 Golder Road, Lewiston, has taken shape since the May 4 groundbreaking. After working on the roof outside and ceiling strapping inside, Lou McCarthy, Warren DeCoster and Ibrahim Ghaleb were ready for a noon break. West Minot Grange provided chilled watermelon and cold water. To help build the house, call Dan Lagrange at 212-6820. There are four opportunities to help finance Androscoggin Habitat for Humanity: the Habitat ReStore on Strawberry Avenue, Lewiston, Tuesday through Saturday; the food booth at the Balloon Festival, Aug. 17 to 19; the annual golf tourney Sept. 21; and the art auction Oct. 11.
