AUBURN – Robin Dow Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, at the American Legion Hall, 426 Washington St. The board of directors will meet at 10 a.m.

Tickets will be on sale for the following: Halloween luncheon, $4, Oct. 24; Thanksgiving dinner, $7, Nov. 14, Auburn United Methodist Church; and Christmas dinner, $8, Dec. 12, Ramada Inn. Members may pay for the three tickets on one check if they wish.

Membership dues for 2008 may also be paid for those leaving early for their winter stay in Florida. There will be the usual raffle table and after a bag lunch, bingo will be played.

At the meeting on July 25 with President Merry Strout presiding, there were 55 present, including a new member, Sylvia Thibodeau. It was reported Lucien Marcoux Robin Dow member, recently underwent surgery at Togus Veterans Hospital. Cards may be sent to his home, 302 Russell St., Lewiston, 04240.

Those having birthdays in July were honored. Attendance prize winners were Midge Demers and Marge Gardner; pot of gold, Irving Grant, Virginia Houston and Dodi Juneau.
