Lewiston Elks initiate 11 new members

LEWISTON – Eleven new members joined the Lewiston Lodge of Elks 371 during a ceremony at the Lisbon Street facility on June 25. Initiating the new members during the 45-minute ceremony were District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler Wayne Cotterly of Poland and the Lodge officers.

Initiated into the order were Leo Nadeau, Maureen Caron, Susan Deprey, Deborah Lafond, Penny Dion, Cliff Wilson, Dan Caron, Roland Bazinet, Tim Wilson, Don Mediros and James Pestino. The new members were welcomed at a dinner and a presentation on the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and its programs.

The Elks is a fraternal organization made up of nearly 1 million men and women from across the United States. The organization provides service to local communities through programs that support the nation’s youth and veterans.
