JAY – The North Jay Grange #10 will be sponsoring North Jay Day from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 14.
There will be food and a craft sale. A baked bean supper will be served from 4 to 6 p.m. Adults, $6; children under 10, $3.
A special attraction of the day will be a parade of restored and antique cars, restored farm tractors, Jay’s restored antique fire truck and a granite display. Line-up for the parade will take place above SIB Enterprises on Route 17. The parade, which starts at 10:30 a.m., will march to Route 4 North and turn around at Howie’ s Welding to return to Route 17.
Other events include lots of community yard and garage sales, a book sale at the Jay-Niles Memorial Library, tours of the North Jay Fire Station, a display of stone cutting at the Jay Historical Society and more.
The grange will be open rain or shine. There will be a raffle and door prizes.
