BETHEL – The Oxford County Mineral & Gem Association will hold its 46th annual Western Maine Gem, Mineral and Jewelry Festival on July 14 and 15 at Telstar Regional High School.

The show is held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 14 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 15.

The show will feature a wide variety of dealers from Maine and across the United States who will provide outstanding specimens, jewelry, gem rough and more. Museum quality displays, along with an eye catching florescent mineral booth, will be available. Guided field trips to local mines will leave at 11 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday for those who wish to try their hand at finding their own treasures. Hourly door prizes and a grand door prize will be drawn.

A mineral swap will be held Saturday, July 14 at 5:30 p.m. in the parking lot in front of the school.
