LIVERMORE – The Livermore Falls Republican Committee will host a meeting in the Treat Memorial Library auditorium on at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27. The business meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss strategies for upcoming events and campaigns. The program speaker will be Maine State Rep. L. Gary Knight of Livermore Falls.

Knight represents District 81, consisting of the towns of Leeds, Livermore, Livermore Falls and Wayne. He will update the group on the events in Augusta over the past months and the results of his 2007 legislative questionnaire, which gave respondents the opportunity to express their opinions and concerns on pertinent issues affecting Maine residents.

There will be a question and answer period following his presentation.
