Christian academy closes with program
LEWISTON – Central Maine Christian Academy recently held its closing program for the school year for parents and friends. Held at South Lewiston Baptist Church, the program opened with music performed by the school chorus and band, made up of students in the fifth grade and up. It was followed by songs from the toddler daycare children and the preschoolers, kindergartners and first-graders.
Students from the second through fourth grades performed a skit, “Under Construction.” The chorus and instrumental ensemble concluded the evening with a variety of worship songs.
Staff members and volunteers were recognized for their contributions to the school. Included among them were Cynthia Cormier, Patricia St. Hilaire, Julie Corff, Bonnie Garman, Tammy Paquette, Ann Nicholas, Loriann Duperry, Tammy Boutot, Heather Burgess, Michele Hall, Karena Howard, Tom Clark, Michael Nyberg, Cindy Boisse, Nancy Reynolds, Amanda Malo, Larry Campbell, B.J. Jones, Lyana St. Hilaire, Chavonne Duteau, Harmony Gagne, Margaret Larlee, Megan Corff, Sherry Field and Denva Corff.
The school is presently accepting applications for its toddler daycare program and its 2007-08 school year for students in preschool, kindergarten and grades one to 12. For more information, call the school at 777-0007.
