Student gets scholarship

AUBURN – Shaw’s Supermarkets has announced that Bryan Ouellette of Leavitt Area High School in Turner has been selected as a recipient of a scholarship. Ouellette will attend Berklee College of Music in Boston.

He has participated in student government, being president of the Student Council at Leavitt. Ouellette is pursuing a major in music production and business and he is the son of Leo and Janet Ouellette.

Shaw’s/Star Supermarkets Inc. have been offering scholarships to its outstanding students for more than 40 years.

Recipients demonstrate high scholastic achievements, high standards of job performance and a potential to succeed in college.
