Prayer service

JAY – Anyone who has suffered from abortion – women, men, grandparents, friends, relatives, professionals – is invited to participate in a Project Rachel Prayer Service for mercy and reconciliation. The service will be held at Gene and Mary Lowe’s home at 227 Macomber Hill Road at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 24. For information and directions, contact Judy Pottle at 645-2166.

Sunday worship

FARMINGTON – Worship at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, May 27, at Henderson Memorial will celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit and the birthday of the Christian church.

Drive-in car hop

KINGFIELD – The sixth annual Old-Fashioned Drive-in Car Hop will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 10, at the Kingfield Woodsman, Main Street.

There will be a live DJ, 50-50 raffle drawing and classic cars on display. There is a $5 registration fee.

All proceeds will go to American Cancer Society. The event is being sponsored by the relay team of Friends and Family Ties.
