VFW to install
LEWISTON – The Longley-Dionne VFW Post 9150 will meet at noon Sunday, May 20, at the Lewiston Lodge of Elks, 1675 Lisbon St.
All officers and members are encouraged to attend. The agenda will include installation of newly elected officers, discussion of the Memorial Day parade, fundraising for scholarships and poppy sales.

Masonic meeting
AUBURN – Ashlar Lodge 105, AF and AM, will hold its May communication on Monday, May 21, at the Auburn Masonic Temple, 1021 Turner St. All Masons are welcome to the business meeting that will start at 7:30 p.m. For a ride or more information, contact Steve Peterson at 777-1728.
Fellowship
AUBURN – The Young at Heart Fellowship will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, at the Court Street Baptist Church. President Winston Greaton will preside at a business meeting.
The Rev. Charles Bray, former pastor at Court Street Baptist Church, will lead devotions. A potluck luncheon will be held at noon. Dessert will be birthday cake.
Dr. Douglass Hodgkins will present a program, “Fractured Families,” which describes how a family dispute wound up in the Maine Supreme Court.
Members are reminded to bring the items they signed up for to the potluck luncheon, their place setting and an item for the door prize. Officers for the coming year will be voted on. All senior citizens are welcome.

LEWISTON – The Fortin Group Dignity Memorial Vietnam Wall benefit spaghetti dinner will feature Roger Renaud, a well-known local artist, who will entertain from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, at the Carriage House. A multi-instrumentalist, music teacher, programmer and arranger, he will play to his own background music.
