Ross Jordan, a senior at Connecticut College in New London, Conn., is a volunteer tutor at a public middle school in New London. Jordan volunteers through the Office of Volunteers for Community Service at Connecticut College.

Jordan, a 2003 graduate of the Northfield Mount Hermon School, is the son of Windsor Jordan of Decatur, Ga., and Adelaide Solomon-Jordan of Rumford.
