PARIS – The McLaughlin Garden need volunteers for the following events:

Saturday and Sunday, May 12 and 13, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wildflower Festival, season-opening plant sale specializing in wild flowers and perennials. The gift shop and house will be open. It is free.

Kid’s Art at the Wildflower Festival from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., kids can decorate a pot for a loved one and fill it with a small plant available for sale. Glitter glue, ribbon, paint, pens available. It is free.

Friday through Monday, May 25 to 28, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Lilac Festival, 10th anniversary celebration. Perennials and lilacs will be on sale all weekend. The house, gift shop and café will be open as well; $5 donation requested.

There are volunteer opportunities available for everyone. All volunteers receive free passes to the flower festivals. For information, contact Jennifer Caldwell-Jeans, volunteer and program coordinator, at 743-8820.
