Cut-a-thon to benefit local Relay For Life

MEXICO – The third annual Relay For life Cut-a-thon will be held Saturday, May 5, at TaDah’s!, 85 Main St. Four women will be standing by ready to cut to benefit the American Cancer Society’s River Valley Relay For Life. All cuts will be $10.

This year staff will be cutting in honor of Abigail Blauvalt, who was just diagnosed with leukemia. They will be cheering her on along with other children in town who have gone through the same battle and won. Makayla Burgess, Tyzel Knox and Logan Hamner will also be present to offer face painting for kids.

Ted Walker will demonstrate his chainsaw carvings and there will be a bake sale and raffle. For more information, call 369-0260.
