BUCKFIELD – A mother/son game and dance night will be held for ages 2 to 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at Buckfield High School.

The price is $15 a family in advance or $17 at the door. Tickets will be available at the Hartford Sumner Elementary School beginning Wednesday, April 25. Included in the ticket price is a keepsake photo to be taken at the dance. Attire is casual.

The theme may be mother/son, but grandmothers, aunts, sisters or friends are also welcome. Homeschool families and out-of-town guests are also welcome.

Disc jockey for the dance will be Allen Smith, a junior at Buckfield High School. Smith donated his time, skills and equipment at the recent father/daughter dance.

The games to be played in the gym will be organized and supervised by Heidi and Steve Campbell and friends.

Steamed hot dogs and pizza will be available for a small fee, and chips, desserts and beverages will be free. Advanced ticket sales will be helpful. To encourage advanced sales, the first 30 tickets sold will be entered into a drawing. Winners of the drawing will be chauffeured to and from the dance.

Anyone who has a classic or unusual vehicle and would like to participate or for more information, call Joan Abrams at 336-3600. There will be prizes and surprises. Proceeds will benefit the Buckfield High School Project Graduation Class of 2007.
