BOWDOIN – Chelsea Alice Caron of Bowdoin was recently selected to participate in Nationals’ 2007 Miss Junior Teen Portland pageant competition on Sunday, April 22. Caron took part in an interview session conducted by Patty Neidert, Portland pageant coordinator.

Caron will compete for more than $20,000 in prizes and specialty gifts that will be distributed to contestants. She will compete in the Miss Junior Teen division, one of three that will have girls between the ages of 10 and 19 competing in modeling routines, which include casual wear and formal wear, and interviewing.

If Caron were to win the title, she would represent Portland at the Cities of America National Competition in Orlando, Fla.
